I am so sorry to learn of Bob’s death, although it sounds like it would have been the way he would have wanted to go – doing the things he was passionate about. I remember him from his early days when we were part of a group of critical social policy academics who set up Critical Social Policy. He was indeed an intellectual giant and will indeed be missed by many of us.
My thoughts also go out to his family. Although his ideas and memories flow on, we mourn his loss and the hole he leaves with his passing.
